enabling us to use our giftedness
to minister God’s grace
both to the believer
and to the seeker.”

In October, 1995, the Elders and Pastors again gathered together for their annual retreat. We believed God wanted to further define our strategy as a congregation in the Greater Akron area. With so many great places of worship, what would begin to set us apart as we defined ourselves. After much prayer, discussion, and drafts, God helped us to write this statement called, ‘Our Vision.’ Together with ‘The Mission,’ and Temple Drawing, it was our desire that we begin to place together the pieces, that would lead us to our destiny in Christ. Through the years, God has confirmed to us His wonderful plan and that this is one of the parts, that is taking us to where we are going. Solomon, in Proverbs 29:18, reminds us of this, “Where there is no revelation (prophetic vision), the people cast off restraint.”
