Our Pastors

David and Sandy Fisher

Pastor David and Sandy Fisher have been pastoring at Sanctuary of Praise since 1989.

They have twenty-three years of ministry experience, having been youth pastors, associate pastors, and senior pastors before coming here.  They have traveled to Mexico, Russia, Zimbabwe, The Dominican Republic and South Africa on missions trips.  They have led youth seminars, spiritual gift workshops, rock music seminars, and grief recovery workshops.

They have been married since June 7, 1975 and have four children; Lindsay, Darcy, Joshua, Philip who are all involved in the ministry of SOP.  They are parents, grandparents, and wonderful friends. They reside in the Hartville area.

Their passion is to see people encounter the love of Christ from every walk of life, every ethnic background, and every corner of every city in the Greater Akron/Canton region.

David received his B.A. in Bible from Central Bible College in Springfield, MO.

Their key verse is found in Colossians 2:6,7:

"As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving."
